Should there be a federally mandated age to legally purchase any kind of firearm?

The tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida by an apparently somewhat mentally challenged 19-year-old has caused a storm of debate regarding school safety, “gun free zones,” age-appropriate gun ownership and outlawing every kind of firearm and ammunition, especially the AR-15.

Bob Livingston Alerts and The Bob Livingston Letter is conducting an urgent poll to see when people should be allowed to buy guns, if you believe gun free zones should exist, who should be allowed to carry guns on school grounds, and what kinds of gun laws we should or shouldn’t have.

The results of the poll will be available to you after you submit your vote, and we'll also share the poll results with major media outlets across the country. Thousands will vote, so take a moment right now to stand up and be counted. Your opinion matters!

1) Should there be a federally mandated age to legally purchase any kind of firearm?

2) What age do you think is appropriate?

3) Do you believe there should be gun-free zones in the U.S.?

4) Should there be armed security on school campuses?

5) Should the federal government outlaw the AR-15?

6) Do guns kill people, or are people solely responsible?

7) Should we arrest people for threats via social media posts?

8) With which political party do you most closely align philosophically?
